Runar Ingi

Rúnar has two homes, Stockholm and Reykjavik. As an adolescent he was influenced by his family, hip-hop feuds and earlier experiences.

With all this input he made short films and tried to be controversial to his neighborhood in the suburbs of Reykjavik.

His skills for effective storytelling and accentuating emotions with a distinct visual style first showed with his advertisement for Nike. Rúnar’s unique style shows tremendous poetic images and is influenced by the Dogma95 movement.

He gained recognition, got several nominations and awards, like in Cannes or the Icelandic Ad Awards, as well as got featured in different magazines.
