Michael Binz
Michael originally is from Cologne, which is in the west of Germany. He studied in his hometown and developed a passion for comedic content.
With his film “Herman the German” he wanted to put the Germans' humor in another perspective, away from so-called Schadenfreude, moving towards a self-ironic presentation. His tool of choice is visual comedy, he mastered this craft.
To keep his masterpieces fresh and entertaining, he confronts himself with different experimental approaches. But not only within projects, also in his spare time.
Urban legends say that the robot vacuum cleaner on LSD in “Gott vs. Tinder” was based on his cat, which got drugged a few years ago - by accident, of course.
